Exile and Belonging: Creative writing workshop for women
Venue: Fusion, Rear building of East Oxford Community Centre, Princes Street, Oxford

This day is aimed at women interested in creative writing, especially around themes of exile and belonging. The morning will be a creative writing workshop. The afternoon will consist of readings from work by refugees and former refugees, together with volunteers from the morning’s workshop, followed by a discussion focused on themes of exile and belonging. Both Carole Angier and Nikki van der Gaag are writers, and involved in Asylum Welcome, a local organisation working with refugees.
